Julianne Alexandra Hough is a professional American dancer, actress and singer. She was born in 20th July 1988 from a line of dancers. All of her four grandparents were dancers! How amazing is that? However, none of her parents is a dancer but they did notice Julianne’s early interest in dancing and arts and thus took her to London’s Italia Conti Academy of performing arts when she was just ten. It is at this school of performing where her career was actually molded. This school has also been the base of her blistering career in dancing, singing, acting among many other performing arts gigs.
From an early age, Julianne was good at what she loved most. She was hard working and her efforts were soon rewarded when still at the Italia Conti Academy of performing arts. She was the first American born artist to win the International Latin Youth Champion which is a famous dancing competition. This accolade was soon followed by Junior Blackpool world Latin crown. At this stage Julianne’s career had started taking shape and her fortunes had started rising, however, she had to return to her home town of Utah to finish her high school studies.
Immediately after high school she went to Los Angeles where she secured her first job as a sexy dancer in the short-lived game show that was named “Show me the Money.” After this first job, she joined the “Dancing with the stars” or DWTS tours as a company dancer.
In a matter of fate or coincidence, when the lead dancer of the DWTS tour Kym Johnson got injured, it was Julianne Hough who was chosen as the replacement. The tour went across the country and her impressive performance made her dancing career in the DWTS tour prosper and being recalled for subsequent seasons.
Julianne Hough has been America’s shining star with electrifying performances that have often moved crowds. Her energy and dedication in the industry has earned her several awards and nomination in the industry. Among the award won include the Emmy awards which she won in 2015 for outstanding choreography. The list of nominated awards include two Emmy awards in 2008 and 2009 as well as CMT music awards in 2009.
